OUR STORY
Located in Calgary, Alberta, Lash Dash Studio was conceptualized in 2014 while it's owner, Jamie Macleod, dreamed of one day opening her own eyelash extension company. After spending nearly a year advancing her skills, a close friend inspired her to advertise her services online, allowing Lash Dash Studio to be born.
The studio quickly grew to be known for it's educational experience and top reviewed results. Her aesthetic focused on “effortless beauty”; providing men and women the ease of living their lives feeling more confidently themselves.

Gaining popularity online, Jamie met many artists needing mentorship both local and international, so she pursued her career into being a lash educator. Working alongside some of the top brands in the industry, Jamie has been given once in a life time opportunities to learn and grow not only as an artist but as a business owner and lash mentor. She promises to bring her students the newest knowledge in the industry with a strong focus on natural lash health and how to build and then keep your clientele.

MEET THE OWNER

JAMIE MACLEODJamie began her eyelash extension career in 2014 with a specialty in volume lash design. Her love for knowledge and desire to achieve the perfect volume lash set made her seek out one of the top trainers in the world, Hilaree Brand of MyBrandLashes. Following her training, Jamie quickly became popular for her passion, educational experience and natural eye on designing her clients lash lines; making her one of the most sought after lash artists in Calgary. Jamie now offers eyelash extension and lash lift training through MyBrandLashes and Elleebana; which both are internationally acclaimed lash companies.
She is originally from Toronto and has passions for photography, social media marketing and all things food. She's a high level certified tap dancer, ex rifle team member and also has advanced sailing certificates. Jamie worked as a makeup artist traveling between Los Angeles and Toronto before moving to her now home of Calgary. She aspires to one day publish a self help novel, mentor lash artists around the world and become a life coach for young adults. |
